Following Venus, Sun, and Jupiter, we finally welcome Mercury to come aboard the Libra train after being stuck in Virgo due to Mercury retrograde. Don’t worry, there will be no more Mercury Retrograde this month as the next one will start in December 20th 2016 (I’m telling you this so you can prepare for the worst especially during holiday season. I know, right?)
This week we are channeling our inner Cher (Clueless) to make diplomatic choices in pursuing our dream. Mercury in Libra is often misunderstood as the time when you seem to be a lot more wishy washy or indecisive before making the big decision, despite the fact that you just want everybody to get along well. But the good thing is, Mercury in Libra will give you that intuitive insight that allows you to imagine yourself being in everyone’s shoes before acting out.
Often when Mercury shifts to Libra, it will be easier for you to sacrifice your own personal gain than watching others in distress. But this time with the conjunction with Jupiter and Sun in Libra, we will strike as being more dominant in pushing our agenda. We’ll get Libra’s signature sweet, friendly and diplomatic side and we’ll begin understand not to push things too far as well. But, in a way, we’ll notice that we have a selfish side that we need to quench too.
However, despite our effort to tiptoe around, eventually we’ll have to step on someone’s shoes to get things done. No matter how hard we try to be likeable, not everyone will like us, and we shouldn’t take it too personally. As Mercury heads to Libra, it will form a strong square with both Mars and Moon in Capricorn. Managing relationship with your colleagues and your loved ones wouldn’t be as simple as ABC as you’ll put more feelings and emotions into your agenda.
But don’t worry, Venus in Scorpio’s sextile aspect with Pluto in Capricorn helps to hone your intuition, particularly when it comes to career/ambition, so you’ll find the best way to talk to them. If your agenda is to get a salary raise in your career, be wary of your colleagues’ jealous eyes. If you know the best way to get to Rome, but your method seems suspicious for your other settlement buddies (such as sailing to the other side of the world), explain to them why you stand for it in an amicable manner (Sorry I’ve been watching too much American Horror Story Season 6). Others may disagree with us, but it doesn’t mean that we can’t minimize the conflict.
This week, you’ll be confused about which side you should sacrifice, whether it’s your relationship with others or your own personal goal. Don’t look at it as an obstacle, instead, perceive it as a challenge that can be solved with the right communication and a strong intuition. Let’s be fair to you and to others as well.
Libra (Sep 23 - Oct 22)The Devil
You’ve been tolerating your own self-doubt and others’ opinion about you for too long, so now it’s time to walk the path alone. I didn’t mean this literally, by the way, rather, it is that every important decision that you make this week should come from you, not because anyone told you so. It’s good to listen to a second opinion, but don’t turn it into a benchmark for your decision. Other than that, don’t forget to exercise and practice gratitude to stay focused and to defeat your inner demons.
